In short, as long as you have killed no one and gained no EXP, that’s all you need before fighting the final Neutral end boss. The Alphys date and True Lab are only available if you beat the Neutral boss with no kills. TRUTH: Doing the True Lab, let alone dating Alphys to begin with, is impossible on the first run before the Neutral boss. MISCONCEPTION #5: Go do the True Lab before fighting the Neutral boss! TRUTH: Believe it or not, it actually doesn’t! It instead just nets different dialogue at the true end of the game.
